The recently opened Dairy at Dassiesfontein is run and owned by the Caledon Food and Beverage Group. We supply milk, yoghurt, fruit juices and a delicious cheese range directly to the market.

The secret to the quality of our products is found in four major aspects:

• Our equipment is cleaned with filtered mineral water. We never clean equipment with municipal tap water.
• We only use filtered mineral water to process our products. This ensures the best quality products and also ensures consistency of quality.
• All the milk purchased for our produce is guaranteed to be hormone and additive free. All our milk is sourced from the well known Overberg area where the cows range freely on green pastures.
• Our cheese is made from a delicate blend of the rich fullness of Jersey milk and the low-fat quality of Holstein milk.

Our cheese is marketed under the Overberger brand. Because we are a smaller company, we provide excellent client and product service.

We have differentiated ourselves from our competitors by opening our own retail outlets. Excluding the farm stall at Dassiesfontein we also own a
dairy boutique in Somerset West and
a factory shop in Caledon.
